There might be an exclamation point on the device that indicates a problem, but when you press the bootloader button on the Trinket it should update and appear as a normal device again.

Unfortunately it looks like Windows 10 doesn't pop up a dialog to install the driver for a new device like it used to do on Win 7, 8, etc. You should hear a little ding that Windows detected a new device while the red LED on the Trinket pulses (and another ding when the red LED stops pulsing and the bootloader ends). Then plug the Trinket in to your computer.
